How It Works
As an easy-to-use, closed-case solution, the PDN LITEOOBM functions in the closed, latched position. To activate your PDN LITEOOBM, follow one of the two options below:
For Failover
- Verify Main Power Switch is in the On position
- Plug the PDN LITEOOBM into available AC power source for power/charging
- Activate Gateway by pressing Standby Button near case handle
- Ensure Bridged Pass-Through Port is terminated to head-end via Ethernet cable as an available WAN source
- Allow head-end network equipment to control fail-over in event primary ISP/WAN becomes unavailable
For Out-of-Band Management
- Verify Main Power Switch is in the On position
- Plug the PDN LITEOOBM into available AC power source for power/charging
- Terminate the Console/OOBM port to console port of head-end networking equipment to manage head-end/downstream equipment for out-of-band management and diagnostics when device is otherwise unavailable due to ISP/primary WAN outage
